You can get an AI assistant to answer phones for practically no cost. :)

TBH, I experienced one of these AI answering services this week. If the AI hadn't told me it was an AI assistant when it answered the phone, I would have had no clue. It spoke like a human, acted like a human, was knowledgable about the business and able to answer all of my questions, was able to give me appointment options for the calendar and finally scheduled my appointment.

I think that for a small shop like Johnny's where they're desperate to find help and good people, something like this would be a perfect solution.

Just my $0.02.

Soon it will be commonplace.

Weird. My response to "I'm an AI assistant" is always, "yeah, no s***." If I was a dog, you'd see my hackles go up. I'm not claiming any special talent or anything, I don't know why it is, but I've noticed this before: some people hardly hear the AI even when you tell them, for others it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. I've gotta REALLY want to deal with a company to tolerate an AI phone conversation.
 
How about a goodwill discount for those of us who would love a turbo, bought a turbo and were financially sodomized by that other guy and never got a turbo...? 😜

I've got the stage 1 and it is a big difference. I can't imagine what stage 2 must feel like. I really want to test drive one. As for the C&C shop, these guys are top notch and I cannot speak more highly of not just the work they do, but the attitude and passion they put into each project while helping the owner make exactly the right decisions for their truck. You guys rock!
