@satchel
What mpg you getting on ur stage 1?
I'm on 35's with 4.88's and I've always gotten about 240 miles per tank. That hasn't changed with the turbo that I've noticed, but I can do a more scientific fill up next time and report back once I have actual mpg numbers.

Finally got a log this morning of a flat out pull. Dead stop to foot down. This is a 93 with a stage 1+ (base kit intercooler emu black)

Going up an on ramp from south bound I25 to highway 36 that absolutely sucks in a standard 80. If you have ever made that interchange you know that's a difficult pull. Also note this truck is not fully tuned yet and has not been on a dyno so I know there is room for improvement.

I started my time where the TPS transitions from 0%. I can also grab 0 mph to 60/70 if someone wants but in my mind the moment the pedal goes down is when the run should start. Takes about .44 seconds from when my foot goes down for the truck to register any forward speed. Speed is taken off of the tcase sensor and has been calibrated vs a gps speedometer. It is pretty spot on.

0-60 roughly 10 seconds
0-70 roughly 12.5 seconds

The weird 20 afr in the middle is it hitting fuel cut on the shift because boost cut is set at 10 psi. Definitely didn't help the times...

So the S1 kit for OBD1 will make 10psi and gets an intercooler because it requires the aftermarket ecu which can account for more boost than my OBD2 stock ecu? I’m interested to read about the dyno results.

Yup, higher price of entry but more control than us OBD2 guys…

What head gasket is recommended for the turbo kit oem or something else I normally use oem
If just the head is being machined, OEM gasket with ARP studs (We use the opel kit and cut down the 2 under the cam gears)

If head and block are getting machined then do a Cometic with ARP studs

Cool should just be the head getting machined unless something is funky when i pull it apart compression numbers are good highest 195 lowest 185 230k on the engine 1994 .

Alright 93-94 guys finally got the kit live on the website. Stage 1 includes an ECU Masters Emu Black for proper engine control w/ our PNP harness and instructions how to get that installed/up and running. Tons of options there for you guys!

OBD2 guys... Wasn't going to leave you out... Everything you need to make the jump to stage 2 is also live!

Not sure why you guys think a hard working small company should give you that discount
🤷‍♂️
Cruiser & Company has nothing to do with that fiasco !
No s***. Agree 100%

@Mjones
For those of you thinking about gaining more from going to stage 2 here are the instructions for the EMU Black

1993 - 1994 EMU Black instructions

1995 - 1994 EMU Black Instructions
To get the Stage 2 ordered if already have Stage 1 and AA I/C - do you just make a custom cart for that? Just email you directly on ordering what’s needed?

Yes! Just add the individual items to cart to create your stage 2.Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Has anyone found a decent gauge pod for the 80 in recent time? I found some old threads here on mud, but the links go to dead pages.

Considering a Scangauge 3, which will probably have most of what I need. If it includes A/FR and Coolant Temp, then I may only need a single gauge pod for Boost.

Interested to know what others are doing / have done.
