At every Jan. meeting I have been President, I have asked if anyone was interested in being President or Vice-President and folks have passed. But it is important that folks get the opportunity. So at our next meeting we will be holding elections for the President and Vice-President offices. According to our by-laws, to hold the Presidents position, will need to have held an office previously. So any past Presidents, Vice-Presidents, and/or Activities Directors are qualified. Speaking of Activities Director, we used to have someone that liked organizing get togethers to hold this position. If y'all want, we can vote for someone there too.
If you are interested in one of the offices you will need to be nominated. You can't nominate yourself so get a friend to do it.
Also, our bylaws state only paying members can vote. Therefore membership fee will $1.
Our meeting usually starts at 7pm at Rudy's on 183. Elections will start at 7:30.
