That's a nice looking troopy! Definitely come see us when you can @4mydogs. I'd imagine there are a few cruiserheads down HHI way, eh? Maybe we could do a lunch or dinner meet-up in Beaufort for one of our monthly get-togethers?

If we are going to go south.... Then we definetly need to meet at http://www.haroldscountryclub.com/ Let me tell you, that is FAMILY GOOD COOKING. It's actually in Yemassee, SC. It is a frined's family restaurant. More than worth the trip. And if we can fill it up with Cruiser's - even better !

Olive Green FJ55 mystery solved...

Owner is named Jeff and runs Indigo Creek Pet Supplies. I stopped in for dog food yesterday and he had it parked out front so we chatted for a while about Cruisers. I gave him a card and let him know the club would love to catch up with him and to have his involvement. He seems to know his way around cars pretty well though this is his first cruiser. Really nice guy and was happy to talk about the Cruiser with me. I invited him to the July 11th HAMOM; he said he might make it by, but also indicated he might take the 55 to the town center on Saturday for the car show (?) that goes on there. I wasn't aware of any car displays but he made it sound like a regular thing.

Cars and coffee...every saturday at town center

as long as it is sitting next to yours, @collk22 !!!

Okay, fine, I'll google it...

What is this Town Center place that you speak of?

Its the shopping center on Hwy 17N, just before the IOP Connector. Basically an outdoor version off the mall; all stores are accessed from outside along sidewalks. box stores and specialty shops, movie theatre, dining..... you don't get out much, eh?

I'm enjoying catching up on this thread. Lots of laughs!!

Spotted a RHD Japanese spec Cruiser today; blue with graphics on the side. The badges on the vehicle were a mix of English and Japanese; had the roof style that slopes up towards the rear. Body was similar to @mmacpherson 's ride. It turned on to Rutledge at Fishburne and went over the Crosstown.

I'm in Germany now and there have been no LC sightings (other than a couple stock 200s). Check out this little gem I spotted on the Autobahn...restored Kübelwagen, even down to the Afrikorps emblem, minus of course the banned symbol.

i saw a greenish blue 40 going down Rifle Range yesterday...couldn't tell too much about it other than the color and it was topless.
Also talked to a friend of one of my (Eagle)scouts that drives a '76 mustard 40.
his dad is suppossedly already on mud, so I gave him a car to give to him.
He would join us, (the son), but he is at the Coast Guard Academy, then in the Coast Guard for 5 years.

Heading over to Goat Island for the weekend (scouts) and a bright red 40 pulls up and parks. Talked to him a bit, he just bought it here and was heading back to Hickory, NC on Sat. Asked him about ONSC and he said no, but a good freind was.
Thought I definately had a new member at first...bummer.

Sullivan's Island yesterday. Tagging him soon.
