There are some nice diesel MOD Defenders (>25) for sale/auction in the UK, some LHD. The only problem is it's still a Land Rover.

I did, we chatted for a bit. Asked him if he'd join us to talk shop and he said he is interested, but it will depend on what he has going on with his wife (she's recovering from cancer). He didn't know there were other old cruisers in town - his is super nice!

Cool...I saw that olive 55 on Rifle range again. One day, I'm going to turn around and follow him/her.
Annnnnd just saw a Navy one same area.
