I think I saw every cruiser on James Island today (10/26). 5 FJC's including an olive drab (flat) one, a tan 60, 2 62's one blue and one looked like mine gold w/ bar on the front. Sae 2 more FJC's on the way home, one Voodoo Blue and one Solid Black w/ FJCruiser lettering on the side.

but have you seen the tan FJ40 RHD?

That's pry mine cuz i work right around the corner from Hanahan on Rivers.

seen the RHD 40 goin down ashley phos towards crosscounty rd. near old Radio Shack

Nope wasnt me then..was it a troopie? could have been Greg French..there is a National Guard station down cross county..

dont think it was Greg French as his is baby s*** yellow...not tan...but he would be going to airforce base on dorchester if it was.

must be someone else...my work peer sent a pic of a 40 that lives next to him in Mt Pleasant...it is a tan 40. Sure there are more around...

yea i really eagle eyed it cause it was RHD

Saw a red 40 today on Savannah Hwy. with top off. looked to be a 80's version because it had a square bezel.

shouldnt you be looking for a locked 80 series instead of a FJ40? :D

Not sure to be honest. I still think I need a pick up. Lately I have been tracking down trucks to haul oyster tables, tanks, oysters, woos and restaurant equipment. I can never find a truck when I need one. i have always had a truck and was thinking about getting an 60 or 80 but damn I find myself needing a freaking pick up again.

With a 4X4 taco or tundra, you can still wheel it.

Buy the Land Cruiser for daily driving and wheeling....get an 80 like Glenn or Joshs. Put tow package on it...and get yourself a good double axle trailer from a pawn shop or off craigs list. Use trailer for hauling gear like tables, cookers, etc............then still have 80 or 100 for wheeling and driving around town.

Or trade Prius for a nice Tacoma for work......put Bessingers on side and write it off. Then sell FJ40 and use money to get a really nice 80 series that you can build for offroad but still comfortable enough to use for daily driver.

You have put a lot of thought into this but I have thought of that scenario already.:D

The sprinter van is usually full of food and supplies when I actually have to haul the other stuff.
