OK ,not the kind of Cruiser with 4 wheels. Was out camping south east of Horsefly at Bosk Lake and noticed on my BC backroads map another small lake nearby called Cruiser Lake (N52° 11.651' W120° 46.266'). Naturally I had to go check it out. There's no road to it but there is a trail. Would have taken my 45 down it but I didn't have it on this trip and didn't think taking my 8,000 LB Duramax was such a good idea as it looked a little soft in spots. So carried the canoe in the 400m off the road to the lake and the wife packed the rest of the gear with the quad. Was hoping for some particular size rainbows. 40, 45, 60, 70 or even an 80 cm is what I expected from a body of water called Cruiser Lake
. Turned out to be nothing but Squaw fish
but beautiful scenery, and lots of wildlife. Saw 3 moose, a buck, eagles and Loons all in a few hours!
