thought this was one of the coolest axle setups that i have seen in along time...

bolt on portal axles to a rear fj60 housings just need two rear fj60 housings
portal axles from stazworks... adds 6 inches of clearance..

these are under a 69 fj55 thats for sale in the classifieds..

One of the coolest mods I've seen is these guys in Bolivia running tours across the high altitude desert in 60's. They all had to air down for the washboard roads and then air back up for the huge salt flats. They did this by converting their A/C units to onboard air compressors - air up in seconds! It's freezing cold there so no need for A/C.

I guess it's not really porn without a picture, but it's one of the coolest and simplest mods I've ever seen.
