I've been thinking some more about this unfortunate incident. Was alcohol involved in any way/amount?

That truely sucks, but it's the first time I've ever heard of a similar event. We need more details so we can all avoid SCTS (Spontaneous Cruiser Tipping Syndrome).

Rule 1
Don't blow a tire and leave your truck in the water......

Something smells fishy here, the headlights were left on overnite and were still bright and shining:confused:

or....you crawled in an overturned vehicle and reached under the water to turn them on?

We need a lawyer to cross examine.........

well from the pictures, though it could be a bad angle, the grade doesn't look that bad......but if a tire was out on the drivers side it might give it just enough lean that a punk up to no good could push it over.

In my opinion if a cruiser cannot take that kind of lean why would everyone use them as offroad trucks? I think there is something fishy going on, no pun intended.

Did >you< leave the lights on? If not maybe someone wanted to take it for a test drive and when they got in the weight shifting on the already soft sand was all it could take.

I think we all agree that more research is necessary. Seriously check for fingerprints on the side of your truck. Usually one can see a fresh(er) set of handprints on a truck especially if it's not clean.

headlights probably came on because of the water. FJ62 headlights are wired ass backwards and switch on the ground side.

Lets rack this one up to stupidity and happenstance. I'm SOA on 35x12.50s. Im not ruling out the possibility of a polite shove but circumstantial evidence might say otherwise. The tire I blew was on the downhill side and I was on quite a slope. The water did also wash away about 8 inches of sand that was underneath my tires on the one side. Word of Caution: ALWAYS BE PREPARED! Not having the tules and equipment on board to get myself out caused the unfortunate overnite stay. But thanks for all the concern. I looked for hand prints too. Yes. It is extremely embarrassing and I still want to cry every time I think about my cruiser. But this wil;l give me the opportunity to make some much needed upgrades.

PS headlights were turned off and truck locked. Probably was the water

dont sweat it i have a rolled t-100 and a rolled 4 runner i didnt roll either of them either it just happens! My land cruiser has never rolled cause i am the only one who drives it:doh:

UPDATE!!! IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!! changed oil, dried it out, and it fired right up! no smoke. nothing. Picks of damage soon to come

Ahh what a nice time to do some underneath much needed maintence while its on its side.. BTW how side damage did the truck experaince?

Regarding #12

You left your cruiser alone by on a lake shore (at not much of a slope from the pics) at night and returned to find it rolled over and on its side, and there where witnesses to testify no fawl play? What where the witnesses doing during the fall into the lake? Glad to hear its running, how long did you let it dry out and are there any electric gremlins in the aftermath. I had a similar incident but it involved not seeing the lake ahead, and it was a heep. I have sense corrected the problem and acquired a Landcruiser.
