great....this is a strange one....I've done some tracing and have yet to discover the issue...

pretty simple actually....switch on the cruise control and hit the turn signal (left OR right, or hazard) and the cruise acts like I just tapped the coast...hit resume, and it picks up the cruise speed again. I'm figgering it's either something in the column or around the fuse block...

anyone exerienced this and have an idea where to start??

That is kinda weird, I wonder if they share a ground........

From the EWD, it looks like the holding relay for the CC stop switch is tied to the stop lights as you would expect--common ground. Not sure that's gonna help you much though :rolleyes: The CC ECU is right under the dash at the end of the steering column; got any loose wires dangling about down there?
 
cured....

removed the trailer-harness....and it magically went away....rewiring that properly was on my list anyways....

the PO harness setup was inside the vehicle, and "left hanging" when needed, out the tailgate...suspect a couple wires there are bruised enuf to no longer have contact....also, I was JUST in the DS compartment late last week, and likely jostled it just enuf to short out....

easy fix, new harness/bracket on order already...just gotta repair the splicework to clean things up....

I was tempted to mention a trailer hitch setup since I had noticed that the whole shebang is also tied into that system, but eh...figured you should check the "more" obvious first. Good on you that you found it. :D
