I think Fedex is trying to make my head explode. They keep trying to deliver my Fridge to my neighbor. I have talked to the driver directly and also my neighbor was kind enough to let me put a GIANT YELLOW SIGN on his door that says THIS IS NOT 1608 IT IS THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR TO YOUR RIGHT. Somehow the same driver just tried to deliver my package to my neighbor. Again. For the third time. There is no Fedex Center locally or I would just have them hold the package and pick it up there. I checked the order and called Fedex and they have the right address so I don't know what the deal is. Losing my mind! I want my frozen dessert in the desert!!!

UPDATE: Spoke with the regional manager. He is as baffled as I am, but he is holding my fridge at their facility in Carbondale and I am picking it up after work!

UPDATE2: Finally! Got the Fridge, had to practically beg the lady at the FedEx facility to get out of her chair and get it off the truck for me. What an ordeal. I'll be sticking with UPS from now on.

I picked up the Dometic CF-50, here is the article that sold me on this model.

I have had experiences like that from UPS, FedEx and USPS.

I am on i-70 driving back to the Roaring Fork Valley from Denver right now and am seeing quite the constant stream of Land Cruisers.......pretty cool how was Cruz Moab wished I could have gone

Just to add...

A big thanks to Ryan and Jonathan for letting me ride along on Hells. Also, thanks to Chris for letting me stay at his campsite.

Cruise Moab was good for me this year. Getting to help plan and organize the Kokopelli run was a bonus. Of course doing the Koko was a highlite. After getting into Moab I did Poison Spider as gunner on Friday. Very nearly endoed my FJ on the waterfall. Never follow a buggy! Then a bit latter watched some young twit of a girl flop her Jeep right in front of me. I heard her say: "I was driving pretty good up til then." I turned towards her and said "no, you weren't". She was driving very carelessly and I expected her to crash and she did (not part of CM). Saturday I lead the Dome Plateau run which was pretty weird because I had volunteered to lead but got bumped back to gunner for reasons unknown, but when our leader did not show I ironically got promoted back to leader. Sunday we had a quick BCC meeting/breakfast then a fun run on the "Long Way Home" over the La Sals led by Jonathan.

All in all a really great week at CM 13! The only negative was that miserable Slickrock Campground. Every year I say never again but this time I mean it! Dan and I had two sites under trees that were badly infested with tent catapillers so not only were they crawling all over us but they were crapping all over our sites. I actually found one trying to build a cocuun inside my skivvies when I got home. Ugh!!!
