One of the nice things about a Gen III Vortec is that cruise control is plug and play. This is a generic stalk. You can get them for the right or left side of the column. I'm not sure this is the best location, the wheel spoke blocks direct sight, but it doesn't matter. There's a button to turn it on, and two other bottons for set/coast and res/acc. It is easily operated by touch. It's awesome!!

I did reinforce the plastic column cover with a steel plate and some fiberglass.

It's a Rostra Universal Right Column Mount Switch part no 250-3743. Many vendors sell them. Yellow wire goes to pin 5 on the TAC controller, Green goes to pin 4 and Brown goes to pin 14. You need to provide a brake light voltage to pin 6. Connect switched power to the red and blue wires and the black wire to ground. That's all there is to it.

Ahh. Mine is db cable, not DBW
