This event runs on the backs of volunteers, and we'd like to see more people step up to alleviate the burden on the usual suspects! Some of you checked the "I'd like to volunteer" box when you registered - we thank you greatly for that - but we'd like to open this thread for the folks who might not have seen that check box or have changed their mind about helping. Please PM me if you have questions you'd rather not discuss here.

We'll have a little something for everybody who volunteers this year. What we are looking for is the following:
1 - Trail leaders for Uwharrie on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (one or more days) = Relics and Non-Relics
2 - Trail leaders for Grand Overland on Friday
3 - Help maintaining/cleaning up throughout the event and before departing camp on Sunday
4 - Set up & tear down of registration tent & tables, etc.
5 - Vehicle Inspectors Thursday-Saturday (we'll have set times for this)

Is this thread also open to folks who want to volunteer but can't remember if they checked the box or not?

I'll be there Thursday night with a non-relic, will volunteer for whatever is needed. I'll need to leave for a couple hours on Friday at 2, but I can help out the rest of the time. I'm driving my "nice" 80 so any trail related stuff would have to be intermediate or easier since I have to drive it back to VT.

Dad and I will be up Thursday evening with my 70 series (non-relic).

I can help as a group lead (or tail) for any level group you need (other than the front side of Daniel 😜) and I always try to help keep things tidy and clean up, so I don't mind helping out with that as well.

If there's anything else I can help out with, just let me know and I'll do what I can 😁👍

I added VEHICLE INSPECTORS to the list. Inspection is an insurance requirement. See the details here.
Do y'all have that printed out as a checklist, or just generally go over things if there's a visible concern? I don't mind helping with the inspections for a bit if need be.

This is Henry Young btw, just if y'all don't know/remember. It's been a while since my last ONSC event 😕

Happy to help wherever. I’ve been a participant for several years. I’ll help with cleanup during the event, inspections, and happy to lead a little Relic (easy mode) cruise in the woods.

What do you need me for?

I'm in for vehicle inspection on Saturday.

@JohnVee I noted on my registration I'd volunteer for the registration tent and inspections. I will arrive Friday morning (possibly Thursday afternoon, unsure) and happy to do whatever is needed, so long as I can get some trail time. Will also help police/cleanup throughout the event.

@JohnVee I can help Saturday morning with inspections and tailgunner on the easy trails.

Tasty Tacos.

The real deal.
Thursday @ 7:30 ?
I am trying to convence Jesus to make the paella again this year. Does that count?

To all who have posted here or contacted me in other ways: Please seek me out once you've arrived and set up your gear if you didn't see me at the registration area. We really appreciate all of help that's been offered and will gladly accept it!
