The flow rate was low, but BMAN nads deep! Or FJC headlights under water deep.:D

HAHAHA just-over-the-boys-deeps would be right. Although it WAS refreshing.

Richard... like I said... no problem. It's what we do.

Richard, it was great to meet you. The truth is I had a great time, it was a bunch more fun than than workin would have been this evening!:D

I so badly wanted to join this rescue for all those reasons. Richard, hopefully I'll get the chance to meet you at least, on a trail. Maybe you'll be helping my stuck ass next time. :D

That spot was so bad my last time through we were praying the road didn't give way. Somebody needs to do some repairs.

Any damage to the FJC?

Agreed, but other than cutting some brush to allow more room to get around it, I don't see much that could be done? That hole and the one just before it are huge, it would require a dump truck full of river rock to even make a dent in it!

Other than some AZ pin stripe, it looks new, as it should with only ~700 miles!:D

Richard showed how how conservative Toyota's numbers are, they list the water fording depth at 27.5". With proper technique, maintaining a bow wave and smooth driving he easily crossed 3' of water, the water was over the bezel, close to the hood gap, nicely done!

Trust me, I woulda rather been out there than workin' too. Unfortunately, gotta pay the cruiser bills somehow. I hope this event doesn't turn Richard (or his wife and family) off to 4 wheeling for long. I shoulda been there, since the first time I took your old rig out, I had a dead battery and had to call someone for a ride... ;) By the way, still love the rig, though these AZ guys seem to hate the high-lift mount on the Up-N-Over bumper (makes a TON of racket), and I've..uh..."removed" one of the fender flares and added a few more dents/dings/scratches all in the last 3000 miles.

Great time helping a fellow Cruiserhead! Couldn't think of a better way to spend a B-Day than 4-wheelin with a bunch of Cruisers. Glad everyone made it home safe, just goes to show that wheelin alone is never a good idea no matter what the trail is.

Excellent job on the Recovery you guys!! This is such an awesome group. Thanks for posting up the pictures.

Until the next excitement~~

What you don't see in those pics is the 200 Lbs of rocks in the back of the FJC acting as a ballast to keep it from teetering in. Pics never do justice to show depth. That hole was easily 5 feet deep below that tire.
