philos1, another buddy of mine and I are going out there on Monday. If you want to go we could meet up at the same spot off the 15.

I updated the map a bit. I'm not exactly sure where we ended the run. I know we went though a couple of tight squeezes then hit a impassable spot. Just follow our tracks . . .

Shane (philos1) is up near you. If he can make it, you guys might want to meet somewhere closer for both of you, then caravan out. Just a thought.

How much further were you guys able to go than last time? I would have liked to go but I spent all day grinding and welding instead, woo hoo!

I'd say we only went maybe an 8th mile farther. Pretty tricky maneuvering. The rocks got pretty big. I don't know why we didn't get a shot of me going through the "squeeze". I had a couple inches clearance on each side.

Then the second squeeze got me. I got my front wheels through then had to force my rear wheels through. I ended up pulling a rock out making it tighter. We had to stack a TON of rock so I could get back out! It was nuts. Can't believe we didn't get pictures of that either. I believe I got some video of John.

How much of the bumper did you get done?

cmjrfan8 - I may just make that. My buddy up here is still undecided about doing a run up this way. I'll see if I can get him to drive south, or find out if he really wants to get out

If not a bumper sticker maybe a sticky on the forum with pic's of the vehicle's damage.

I'm sure this is a short list but these are the one's I am aware of:

Mark - rear bumper damage
Ulyses - running boards
Kevin (Colorado truck) - front drive shaft
Unknown (4-Runner) - running boards

I would be on this list except I had the good fortune of putting sliders on before the T-Day run and was able to break them in.

what's not so awesome....having to drive 180 miles just to get to the start of that route.

Do they close the canyons on weekends like this one where we'll get 4 inches of rain?
