we are on the verge of selling our house to buy an RV.
Awesome!!!! Its a great lifestyle.... we loved it. We might be selling our RV (building a house). It will be a sad day if we do. hard to pack 6 kids in an RV and we really missed being part of a community when we were out and about... thats the only negative.

speaking of community, i miss cruisers. There is an overwhelming amount of derp in the frontier forums.

We are talking to a guy who owns some land on the river, if he will sell some we will need a temporary while we build what we want.

Land Speeder are you still full timing?

Yes sir Mike!
Still LOVIN it!
If you're ever down this way Lemme know!

You obviously haven't spent much time in 80 series tech lately. :meh:

Hahahaha... I was just talking to a fellow MUD'r about that a few days ago. I mostly stay in the clubhouses and chat. Tech is kinda worthless if you have a real TECH question anymore. I have a bumper, tires and wheels and a radio, so I have 90% of tech covered.

But have you baselined everything? This should be done within the first month of purchase and be sure to start a new thread with frequent updates as each fluid type is dealt with. You also must agonize over every fluid decision. And if you've driven in water over 3" deep, or even a heavy rain, did you immediately change out all fluids?

New 80 series owner - Hey gang!! I just bought the most awesome FZJ80!! It even has LOCKERS (how do they work?) Got it because it's the tuffest 4X4 SUV on the planet and I want to be prepared for the end of life as we know it. Yesterday I took to the quik lube and had the oil changed. The minimum wage oil change tech used 30w instead of the 40w I requested. Will this make my HG blow?? What should I do???

Holy crap! Look how many people LIKED Jim's post! LOL!

well, that didn't happen...

whats up with cramalot, I dont think I have seen how you transport the house, 100 and 80. do you have to drive house towing 100, then go back for buggy or do you run a train?

I haven't moved the buggy since owning it. I promised myself to not do a dang thing to it, until I had a place to wrench. I've had offers, but it's me holding myself to getting where I need to be kind of thing. So, until I'm in a shop, FrankenDigger sits.

Saw the possible cramalot parking spot on the FB last week. You getting closer to that place to wrench?
