i've got a 285/75/16 BFG KO for sale. basically new....it was mounted under my LC as the spare. does no one want these anymore? am I better off throwing it out?
The dates are going to be too old to be safe. 6,7,8 years is getting up there in age. Original KO are at least 6 years old at this point, maybe older.
My beater caprice in college had 10 year old tires with like new tread. On the interstate one of them on the rear delaminated, messed up the fender and wheel well, and through me around the road a little bit. I am normal a caution to the wind kind of person, but I dont take chances with old tires. Once exception is around the town cars/trailers that are never going more than a few miles or over 45mph.

my guess is after being spoiled by cruiser ownership they figured ‘how bad could it be’ lol. Hope they got a warranty.
I'm thinking along the lines of being adventurous, adding excitement to your life and living on the edge.

I think that is right in line. '06 and 07's have actually been appreciating.
The biggest concern is that it lived in CT for 11 years.
But by the mileage, it could be a Summer truck for someone in Martha's Vineyard.
