crack in block of 13bt

hey ive just started process of rebuilding 13bt motor because it was over heating. ive discovered a crack in no.1 liner so ive removed liners but i found a crack in block where crack in liner was. can i just put new liner in or do i need a new block

Disappointing. Do you have pics of the block. I'm only just curious to see what you are
dealing with.

yea it sure is disappointing. the light at the end of the tunnel has just got a bit further away. ill try get pics up asap

I wonder does it share block with the 3B? Do you have any other issues? Is the head all okay?

Hey cruiserpilot sorry havnt got photos yet but i dont think they are same block unfortunately. i originally thought problem was head but i got it crack tested and it came back fine which was a bugger because i had to search deeper to find problem. Ive been asking around for a new block but here in new zealand there not that common
