!!! I need help from the 60 series community !!!
I am finally getting my good old Marshy back on wheels after over a year and a half sleeping at my storage!
I am thinking about installing a diesel heater in the engine bay and using the cowl vent to get the heat in and use the original HVAC system in the truck!
Now... How would I connect it in there?? By the look of it I would have to fully cut open the cowl vent area... I wouldn't mind cutting the part in the engine bay but I really don't want to cut the top on it. Any idea guys?
I would also totally cancel my heater core as it's leaking like a pig and honestly I really don't want to open that can of worm.
I am thinking that it would give me instant heat and I would be able to run the heater for winter camping!
On paper it sounds like a great idea but what do you guys think?
Thank to bluehawk for those photo! I was looking for hours for info about this and finally asked chat gpt and it showed me that specific post!
