Couch won't fit down the stairs? Get the hammer!

Started this little project because we got tired of all of the kids and their friends spending every weekend consuming every square inch of our living room.

Fixed the old TV - Moved to the basement
Fixed the old Denon receiver - Moved to the basement
Added cheap $20 dollar speakers
Move couch from the loft to the basement - Ummm, won't fit...

No turning back now.

All opened up.

Handrail installed (still needs paint) and hickory flooring installed on the ceiling.

Lighting installed.

I still need to do some trim work and I will be installing the hickory flooring down the stairs as well, but the stair-nose was on back order so it will have to wait a little longer.

But now you won't be able to close the door to shut off their noise making.
