Probably can after doing it few times. I'm guessing most people don't realize the book rate really does not apply for the first time you do that job.
After doing it once, you'll realize how to do it faster/correctly or decide you don't ever want to do it again and pay someone.
 
That's a automatic parts washer and it sprays heated cleaning fluid (non-mineral spirits) above and below the rotating basket. Has a 15min timer knob that activates it and the lid is also a basin for washing small parts.

That's the one. It's expensive at $600 every 12 weeks but it gets the job done.
