No. Exposed stud. 1/4” tube.

wacking the stud with a brass drift works well too....

Been doing it that way for a couple years now. Beats whailing on the flange or keeping the drift on the stud. I like the soft tube idea, I’ve been backing off the nut to overhang stud just enough to keep punch on target instead.

Yes. It’s getting an FJ60 PS conversion so the stock tower goes away.

Landlord bent up this Hot box around the stove and plumbed Into the duct work right before I moved in. Old tenant says world of difference with this and spray foam in the ext walls. Been feeding the ‘dragon’ for a week straight. Finally a break in temps to allow clean out and wood run. Hey but basement is finally dry

Yes it is.....it is made in Meridian MS

All black on outside and some smooth Cedar on front under windows.
