Honesty not sure? 55's are a rare sight in my parts. And I haven't built a bumper on one if those yet. Maybe Jason could chime in on that.
ONE-OFF is the only way to really deal with piggies unfortunately, if you want to make any money. Limited "purchasing" demographic on them. I was going to make a few and the demand just isn't there. If you have all the files and can run one bumper at a time it may be different. But, the only way I will build piggie armor is if it is in my shop for a custom build.
Sorry, just my .02
Jason
I replaced the front bumper and winch mount on my 40, and was just thinking of fabbing new mounting hardware (the frame extensions are wider), and mounting my old 40 bumper and winch to the pig.
No worries at all.. I thought he was talking about a rear bumper?... either way no worries. That's some nice lipstick on that pig!Just drill a couple of holes in the bumper and it fits. Here is one of my 40 channel bumpers used with my piggie frame extensions.
Easy peasy....
Sorry Rich

Not to get off subject here, but what is the tire and wheel specs on your rig? I can tell that they are bfg's just cant figure out the size? Again your work is outstanding!!!A little teaser shot of my new 80 series rear expedition bumper! Almost finished. The space between the bottom two rungs of the ladder is where a 2 gallon rotopax for water gets mounted. And those are two 3 Gallon fuel rotopax's mounted and protected under the high clearance tire mount. The ladder follows the contours of the body and the rungs are made from stainless steel as well as the grab bar at the top. I still have to fit up lighting and equipment mounting and some other features but here it is so farView attachment 1316007
