I posted earlier today about a potential scam involving a truck out of Houston. Initially, I was messaged by someone selling a 2002 Land Cruiser.

I saw that the truck was being listed on Facebook by another, private seller. I messaged the Facebook seller, who told me that the truck was still for sale, but was unaware of the gentleman who messaged me. Based on that information, I assumed I was being scammed.

I no longer believe that to be the case. The individual who messaged me on mud, Ian, called me and he and I spoke for several minutes. It appears, if anything, that the Facebook ad was the source of misinformation.

Ian sounds like a stand-up, legitimate seller who I do believe owns the truck. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Hopefully mods will leave this up long enough for folks to read it.
