I am getting the impression my 2h intake valve intake seats are not cut correctly. Using oem new valves, I can valve lap the inlet valves to the manual spec, but the exhaust valve only contacts on a line which is certainly not 1.4-2mm. It would take some extensive lapping to get the exhaust valve to sit with more surface contact.

Please take note I have only used coarse lap compound at this stage, why the texta lines are not crisp. Just wanted to get an idea if they sit right.
I have read in some other manuals that a contact line is ok as it gets pounded down such as described in this link. But it is not recommended in the toyota manual.

I used black marker texta as described by our definitive diesel expert at Fanshawe motive power;
Do I need to take back to the shop and get them to re-cut the intake valves? They charged me for it.
