The SVC on the side of my fuel pump has a slow leak. It was pushing diesel up inside the jacketing of the wires all the way to the ECU, dripping into the passenger footwell, and causing a bunch of nonsensical engine and abs codes. Very wierd issue to diagnose, but thankfully I found an old thread about it. I was able to remove the rubber gasket inside the electrical connector, so now it just drips from there instead of being pushed up the wires. A good temporary solution.
Anyway, this denso part (096360-0580) is not easy to track down. Toyota doesn't sell it anymore. I've only found it in stock on a couple of websites that will ship to me in Canada, and the price is astronomical, over $500 CAD with shipping. Aliexpress has it for a decent price, but I don't really trust that it's a genuine denso part.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, it will be much appreciated.
