Copy of a 2000 Landcruiser Key (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I would like a copy of my 2000 landcruiser key.

The only key I was given when I bought the truck was a spare valet key with no unlock buttons.

I did buy an extra blank valet key but I see that I need to get the key programmed.

is there any software I can buy to program this blank spare key myself? I do not have the master key.

Search for this, many threads. Short of it is without a master key you'll need a locksmith that can flash the ECU.

looks like I have a master key as it does open the glovebox.

I bought this blank.

can I program it myself? Or would I need techstream software?

You should check the security light to make sure if it's master or valet. Depends on your MY of truck if you can program it or need techstream. Again, another good thread on that in the FAQ.

Programming a master or valet key
