Respectfully I have to disagree. I have been a paramedic for 15 years and worked professionally as a firefighter paramedic in the 2nd largest fire department in virginia and have seen first hand what happens when stuff like that goes wrong. I have, as a rescue diver, had to pull someone out of their vehicle who drown while their vehicle was swept off a road just like that one. River crossings are one thing, but flood water is a different story and tragedy is often associated with people who try and do just what this guy did. Children when riding with a parent or family member don't have a choice but to hang on for the ride. When you risk the lives of 10 firefighters to rescue a mom and two kids from a tree they had to climb to keep from drowning after their car was swept away because there mom did not have the sense to not and try crossing the flooded road frustrates me. People often forget about the lives of the rescuers that all to often have to respond to save those who make poor choices.
Sorry for the run on, i love adventure and have taken my own stupid risks; and it does make you stronger to overcome adversity and survive challenges.
The slide show is not an adventure its just a poor decision that happened to work out. all i am saying is don't take an innocent child down with you!
