Before, during and after. Wilbur was fine in MA with a 12” electric fan. Didn’t work here in TX. Couldn’t drive more than 20 miles in this heat without running 205 on the road which didn’t bode well for the thick sand at the beach in 4WD all day. Many thanks to all that said “go back to the mechanical fan” and a special thanks to Kurt and the crew at Cruiser Outfitters for the advice and tech support on the water pump, pulley & fan that would fit with the FSR aftermarket radiator. Finished the project today, he ran 180 deg F at 55-65 mph for 50+ miles. First beach trip for Wilbur coming soon. Sorry for the diatribe, I’m just jazzed to know I can now drive Wilbur anywhere. Now off to Houston to have a fan shroud made.
