Morning ya'll,

Im in a bit of a pickle. Got a pretty concerning coolant leak on my BJ71. Rear heater hose coming off the head is bad, dry rotted and leaking coolant directly above the starter. I've got a patch of duct tape and safety wire keeping it from leaking any worse but I need to get it replaced. I'm trying to track one down and am having ZERO luck. It's 87255A in the picture, part number 87245-90K51.

Thanks for looking and for any help ya'll my be able to give me.

Part is discontinued.

You might be able to match it up at a parts house. Since you do not indicate where you are located, no one is going to be able to assist you with localized/regional information.

Good luck.

Thanks beno, I was afraid of that.

oh, and I fixed the location thing...

5/8" generic heater hose won't do it? Not sure where this hose goes but if it's for the rear heater you can bypass/re-route it and deal with it in the spring.

Thanks guys. I haven't seen a single "NAPA" type autoparts store since I got here. You've all probably saved my bacon. I'll try to document the fix, maybe it'll help someone else.

Right now I'm thinking 5/8" heater hose and a bit of copper pipe for a coupler, see how that goes.
