Gotcha I'm driving up to Athens soon as I'm still changing the head gasket on my bmw e30 but I have tons of spare heater hose up there. There are also tons of google searches that should help you. I found this pretty fast.



If you're in a pinch, I know Lowes carries some bundles of 5/8 heater hose.(Saved my ass a couple of time with the engine swap in my bmw)

To be honest, I didn't even know we carried heater hose!

I sell exterior projects (decks, windows, roofs, etc), I don't know everything we carry as I don't really spend much time in the store unless I'm in my office.

I finished...took about 7 hours (some of that was research), but it works!!!

I ended up doing the PHH bypass, only because I had a 5ft long hose and didn't feel like doing it the "correct" way. I routed it as far away from the engine as possible (idea stolen from someone else's thread..). The original metal hose is still in there, in case I ever feel like doing it all over again. I don't think I broke anything else either...I guess I'll find out.

Awesome work man. That is not a small feat but you hung with us and you got it done right enough. From now on when people talk about working on their cars at work or at a party, you can say that you are at least a two shade tree mechanic. My favorite part is where you told the guy that wanted $650 to pound sand.
