I think coolant arrow is correct on Bypass Valve.
Just know that closed it not shut completely off on purpose.

Roger that. I just want to make sure I have the direction correct, and I believe I do. Thx!

@Will Van where did you get those clamps? I am getting to learn about collant and fittings for my turbo and redoing all hose and fuel line! To prevent air in my system eager to know where to get this

They are Breeze "Constant Torque" clamps. But after using them, I would not recommend them. The Constant Torque feature is a gimmick that works better in theory than in reality. My experience was that you had to tighten them so much (to prevent leaks) that the "Constant Torque" spring was fully compressed and effectively doing nothing. They're also expensive.

I would recommend the Breeze stainless steel Aero-Liner series: Breeze - Breeze Liner - Breeze Hose Clamps - https://www.breezehoseclamps.com/breeze/liner/

Look up the size/part-number on the Breeze website and then purchase through your favorite supplier (EBay, Amazon, HCK, etc).

Hi Will,

Thanks you so much appreciated "feedback" I will search the size needed for Fuel line, collant line etc
Stiil trying to figure out what are the in/out on my turbo lol

I assume that with the arrow drawn above the collant flow through the water hose but my question 🙋🏼‍♂️

Would the water hose are circular red drawing be the feed for the turbo coolant or the drain?

Although technically the drain cock is on the other side of the block I am wandering if this make sense

My understanding is water bypass hose would be the feed for collant on the turbo and then the other side the drain

IMO you cant beat the OEM spring clamps.
There's good reason auto manufacturers use them

The only time I've seen them "fail" is if reused improperly, or reused aling with reusing old hard rubber hoses. Then it's the hose that's the source of the failure.

Worm drive clamps always distort/deform the hose.

They are cheap enough, and easy to order ahead of time.

Super easy to install new ones as they come clipped open. Position them, pull the clip off, job done.

I’m sorry, I’m not as familiar with the 1HZ. Maybe ask in the Diesel Tech section?
