From http://www.turbosmart.com.au/

"Q: I have a turbo diesel car can I use a Turbosmart Blow-off valve?
A: No, Diesel engines operate on a different principal to petrol engines and therefore a Blow-off valve can not be used."

BS
Even with no throttle plate the engine will not be sucking as much air as it did before you shifted. So the pressure between the intake valve and the compressor wheel is going to go up. This puts pressure on the compressor wheel slowing it down. Am I wrong? Plus my 3b does have a throttle plate.

hmm. not sure I saw *any* info at all other than about their gas-related components

Didnt say gas or diesel did I ? Sorry for not posting in the non-diesel section.

Quote from their site - No matter what your application, be it on the street, off-road or in the water, as long as your engine is fed by a turbo, Turbosmart has the answer.

I thought maybe someone one would like the boost control valve option for increasing boost other than having to mess with the actuator rod.
