Hey...they were just tossed on top of the ice cooler by the concession stand. I asked the workers and they said somebody didn't want them and didn't care if I took one. If the other 3 are still there on the cooler for the next game I'd advise you to do the same. We have them for or 2 season tickets and they night and day difference for sitting.

Dropped the Tubdra off for service this morning at the local dealership. Why are people so inept? I've been fighting with low fuel mileage since I've had the truck, and had it there numerous times. So I say to the service writer, the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Go through the whole thing and he looks at me like I have 3 heads. So I just say, have the tech call me. Then I say where is my rental? He says oh, we don't have any. WHAT? I said I needed one when I made the appointment. Oh well that system doesn't connect to the rental cars so they wouldn't have known. WHAT? Why ask then? Ugh. Gonna be a long couple of days with no wheels and a fight with Toyota.

The plus of all this is that all the little service boys think I have a bad ass truck. :)

I would start with a call to Service Manager.....also if you get a survey from the service call if you fill it out like you really feel vs all perfect service you start hitting their paychecks real quick and get their attention real quick.

Bomar hit nail on head- basically their pay is based off hours turned & customer surveys…..

Remind them about this & that should help your cause.

I have gotten full tanks of gas in exchange for blank surveys and that was years ago. I wonder what their Street Value is now. Seems like it should cover a rental for a few days.

Too much risk now. That came up at a store I call on and manufacture pulled a large 6 figure payback. Needless to say a lot of people lost there jobs over that.

Sounds like a Seinfeld episode...

My newest edition came home this morning. A 1966 Stevens M416 in great condition.

Needs some cleaning, new lights and a new clean paint job but it follows nicely and quietly.
Let the fun begin.

Looks great Arne!

JTTMFT to the rescue again. I ended up taking to the service manager and gave him JT's VIN because he had the same problem. After a lot of blah blah blah they called and are replacing the fuel pump. But it's just out of good faith, he said. Because it's not reproducible. What ever. It's being fixed under warranty. Yay!!!

I bet the ass end of that thing is sitting in the spot across the aisle...

I was just looking at a Tundra Pro nice truck but how does Toyota still sell these with low teens mpgs. I am pushing for a Tundra work truck but these Chebys are getting low twenties.

They need to step there game up.
