How much should window tinting cost. Got an estimate for 4Runner and it was 200 bucks. seems cheap.

Make sure get good tint....
Just did the wife's '01 4R and it was $200 for 35% all around + 5% visor strip. Paid an extra $100 to strip the old tint off and it was worth every penny. Took the pro 4-5 hours to strip and only 60-90 minutes to re-tint.

In my line of work I plan and train others for future conflict/missions/natural disasters. I just wanted to give some Stats and "what ifs" to get you thinking. This data is directly from the FBI. I know our group works everywhere from a tire shop and golf course to 30,000 feet but it never hurts to be educated:
Statistical Breakdown of 35 Active Shooter events:
§57% of the attackers were insiders (known)
§71% of the victims initially targeted were the focus of the perceived injustice
•74% of the attackers entered through the main entrance
• 49% of the attackers committed suicide
• 17% of the attackers were killed
• 34% of the attackers were arrested
• 63% of the attacks were over in under 15 minutes
•51% of the attacks occurred in the workplace
•17% of the attacks occurred in a school
•17% of the attacks occurred in a public place
•6% of the attacks occurred in a religious establishment
• 57% of the time that police complete a solo entry, active shooter is still shooting
•33% of the time police are shot
*My thought on this....you don't need to haul a parachute or weapon around.....UNTIL the day you need it. Then you are A. prepared or B. don't have to worry about it anymore. Conceal carry is a good thing and, IMO, finds it's roots in what this country was founded on....protect me and mine!!
How can you prepare for an Active Shooter?
•Have A Plan: Train building occupants on response options
•Conduct a realistic security assessment to determine the facility’s vulnerability to an active shooter attack
• Identify multiple evacuation routes and practice evacuations
•Designate shelter locations
•Designate a point-of-contact with knowledge of the facility and the security procedures
•Conduct evacuation drills
•Survival Mindset = GET-OUT; HIDE-OUT; TAKE-OUT (RUN/HIDE/FIGHT)
anyway, not trying to freak anyone out, but with ISIS becoming more prevelant in the States, our military is focusing on hardening facilities, but history proves most of the damage is from internal sources. Alot of us carry (I'm a sheep dog, not a sheep) so I feel the burden is on us to think beyond our safe bubbles for our work places, churches, daycares, etc.

Well folks this one another WTF about society…..
Many of you saw in news the Mckinney TX cop who lost his job over "excessive force" towards folks doing wrong…..
If you watched the video of him; two young males come from behind him & take a stance like they are going to jump him; he pulled his weapon & they ran, then holstered it & went back to young girl causing issue.
Now today; officer in Cincinnati is charged with murder of a young male.
Watch the video…. pay attention to his answers & his hands when the officer ask him to get out of the car; his right hand goes for the ignition & starts vehicle….. cop is heard shooting him.

You don't have tag on car, why you were stopped, you can't produce a license, then you disobey officer & start car to run….
I know there are bad folks in every walk of life but DAM…. seems funny when cops approach anyone doing wrong they ask same thing, license/ registration/ insurance…..
He couldn't produce anything & started the car to run….. he got shot!!!
Why is the officer wrong….. you started car & tried to run!!!
So now he runs from officer, maybe hits innocent person or causes wreck, but its ok cause we didn't shoot!
Sorry folks for the long winded post but just think something in society has to change & hold individuals accountable for actions rather than pleading race as issue….
