This happened to me Monday in Meridian, coming home from a coal mine inspection:

Was driving down Hwy 493 and a flatbed truck was coming the opposite direction way too fast. Just as we were about to pass him, he lost his load, which flew right in our path. No major injuries, but some burns, cuts, and bruises.

Believe it or not, we hit one of those massive inflatable waterslides that had a bunch of residual water in it. It was so heavy, that a tractor had to come move it off the side of the road; they said it had to have weighted at least 500lbs. Could have easily killed us, especially had we been in a smaller ride.

Looks like I'll be getting a new whip though, so @wct49 , I'm sure I'll be back at the garage for a new set of Trail Grapplers; I have a feeling the insurance company is going to take the old set (what a shame).
