gauley is on my list. I did the Nantahalla and the Ocoee time to step it up. Got brave and did the Ocoee in a ducky ended up more in the water than in the boat.. Intense class 3 & 4s looked like tidal waves.
Introducing the kids to white water rafting on the Big Pigeon River in TN on Thursday. I Hope they like it. I want to do more intense rivers.

The Nantahalla is good system. Try the Dead River in Maine. It ranges from 1200 to 7000 ft³/s (35–200 m³/s) and range in difficulty from easy to class 5s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_River_(Kennebec_River)
A class 5 eddy gate pinned me underwater due to high flow when I dumped a kayak and couldn't get flipped upright......last time I kayaked. I might drown, but it won't be upside down against a boulder.
For more fun hike the AT for a week and use the river as a bath...good times.

They don't have any money because they don't want to to work and want everything to be handed to them. They voted for for 0bozo president so that didn't help with finding jobs either. I'm tired of hearing millenials says stuff like... "I need to make 6 figures out of college because I have a bachelor's degree." I guess they have not figured out that there are plenty of people with graduate degrees AND with of job experience.
