No. Walked to The Hotel Del to get some pics.

The Lt Dan band was playing covers and s*** to about 1000 people on the beach. I listened to a few songs. Had to walk at Journey don't stop believing.....

So I walked a bit farther and this angel was getting her picture did. So I grabbed a few of her

The green dress had her sister taking the pictures. Ole green was working her ass off to get set up and her sister was not getting good shots.

I eased off to finish my cigar and when I got back she was looking at the pics with her sister. I showed her the ones I took and she wanted them.

Hope she makes a million. Doubtful but she was tough. Water was cold.

I'm assuming out by the airport? Probably a 15-20 minute drive in, but there are 2-3 solid places off 49 if you are interested.

The original Muffalatta was made in some place downtown Shreveport. Forgot name. I don't like Muffallattas so I never went.

Don't know if it's the home of the original mufaletta or not, but Fertitta's is solid, and it's real close to you. 2-3 minute cab ride.

Flights are delayed through DFW toda due to the storm.

The Sheeple I work with went to airport anyway even though we have 4 extra hours..... Or they are at hotel in the lobby.

They Don't have the slightest desire to walk to the USS Midway to tour or the maritime museum.

What the fxxx is wrong with people? They have a free afternoon in one of Americas greatest cities and they sit at the airport and eat the provided box lunch?

I think an overlanding truck camping trip out there, done from campsite to campsite with no real schedule (and lots of beer/piss stops) like we did the Ark trip last month would be awesome. Small to middling group, no trailers or tow rigs, just go offroad in what we drive out, drink a lot, eat a lot, BS a lot, etc. Stick more to the scenic/easy trails. Late April cause i don't like to sweat my ass off on vacation...and I'm not really feeling Cruise Moab.
