That Bently sold at auction in Pearl about a year or so ago. Was confiscated in a drug bust along with a bunch of gold and diamonds. Had low miles but had a salvage title. Sold for 86k I believe.

Drug bust? Wow! You wouldn't think a blinged-up B would attract much attention in Mississippi....... :)

If you are going to just drive it, the 62 is a great ride. Slow but reliable.

If you have any desire to modify it, the 60 series is expensive to modify and you don't get your money back at all when you dump money into it.

$3000 with low miles is fair.

Ditto what Nolen said. I would LOVE to own a 62.... love the look and the engine, but it's expensive to build.
Go back to one of my first posts on this thread... 3FE'd 80... it's within your price range and honestly after 15-20 years apparently are holding up better than the 1FZE's are...

That's an old Aggie joke. I'm suprised that Kowboy was quick enough to alter it to fit his needs.

Their not that expensive to build. I know for a fact that Greg has less than $80K in his.

You're right. Do it whenever, I don't give a shunt.

Any 62 experts want to give me some thoughts on this car?

AC does not work, but is it worth 3k with no ac? owner does not know why ac is inop.

It is only about $300 to $400 to get a/c going that is a new compressor and dryer and someone to fill it up for you after you put the items on. Cam is a a/c master.

I love my 62 it is slow but I would take it anywhere...but 10mpg all the time.

I am looking for something to get me around
when the 100 is down for projects and maint.
Maybe I should keep holding out for an 80 so
I can wheel it later.

he wasn't back when we tried to jb weld the compressor on your 62!

Yours was just practice :p I can lay down some sweet beads with the jb weld nowadays :grinpimp:

p.s. It really wasn't my fault. It says right there on the package that jb weld is "stronger than bailing wire"

OH you want some fender flares, I got your fender flares, riiiiight here..
80 huge tires huge flares.webp
