Yeah I don’t see you driving a $40,000 truck with a bunch of sheet metal on the trails Bodean.

Whomp away but when that s*** bites back in a new truck it bites back hard.

That’s why I stick to the bunny trails until it’s paid for and I get lockers. I’ve even sworn off Rubicon Ridge at this point. Stresses me out too much and there’s no challenging/fun obstacal any more. Just “big” rocks to fall on that mortars Robs beer all over the truck and stupid turns to drag my fender on.

Plan a trip out west where there are not so many trees.

I want to get to Big Bend in the next year or two. I hope y’all kept your notes and routes etc. need to get at least another vehicle on board given the size/distance I think.

Big Bend is best done in groups of 3 or smaller.

It’s all gravel roads though. No locker or crawl required.

Yep, I’m just not sure about doing it solo. It just looks like a cool place to spend a week or so enjoying.

After that Utah, maybe the Grand Canyon etc., further out west. See Moab etc., got a list going. Maybe a two week whirl wind. Never been further west by car than like DFW or so.

@HoneyBear
You'd like the Ouray-Telluride-Silverton area if you want super scenic and bunny trails. The only thing daunting is the narrowness of the "roads" in certain areas.

I’ve heard good things, but with your endorsement I’ll move it up higher on the list.

At this rate his head is not going to fit through the doors to get into his cruisers. @wngrog
