Excellent - Mo and I used to build those RC kits when he was younger - I suspect the product has come a long way since then. I see an inverter or massive solar array being added to the 100 next to keep batteries going during Overlanding

@wngrog , will you be around Fondren/Jackson anytime soon? I can get these springs to you for @MEMCruiser if that's ok.

@wngrog love axial stuff.

I just ordered this today

Yeti XL. Axial Racing - Yeti™ XL 1/8th Scale Electric 4WD - RTR

Should be fun to try to kill at Crawl this year.

Man, that is sweet. I used to race RC cars with my friends when I was in elementary school. Has some pretty high-end gear too.

I imagine RC technology has really changed in the past 15 years or so.

Brushless motors, Lipo batteries...

Lipo batteries are the best thing to come along in a long time. Has made electric run-times on par with the nitro rigs. I have a honcho that I can get tired of before I run out of battery. Nothing like the old 5 and 10 minute runs of the old ni-cad packs.

Can't wait for it to arrive, wanted a big basher and this seemed to fit the bill.

$700! wow, that's almost as expensive as the real thing.

Agreeed, I actually got another 80, Well half of one for less than that. I found mine on flebay lightly used for a good bit less, and it comes with a pair of batteries and an aftermarket rear away bar. All in I probably saved 40%-45% over new.

Here's me an' the boy's 2wd Slashes. Different style than the ones above. They are pretty tame as far as they go. Stock Traxxas brushless motors and 2s Lipo batteries.

However, they are pretty fast, and easy to tear parts up:steer:
