I could call Marshall every time I needed something, but thats not me.
Besides, it will give you an easy way to save the E-mail address.
Thanks to those who have responded so far.

Agreed...UC is large enough that we need to be somewhat self reliant. I agree with handling most things locally as they have enough to do already with Upstate, N.Georgia, and W. North Carolina members.

got it
thanks

OK, just thought that some people don't check this forum that often, and that way you wouldn't miss anyone. Even if it was someone who maybe showed up to OMT05' and hasn't been involved since. If they lived in the LC you could send them an invite and grow the club. I understand that UC are busy, but we are a sub-chapter of them. Just want to see this thing grow beyond the few guys that we have now. I know there are a lot more in this area than what are frequenting this forum right now.

I compiled a list of screen names from this area at the beginning of the year. I'll forward it to you so you can make sure they know about the meetings.

And I don't mean all soccer mom 80's. There are some nice modified 60's and 40's running around.

My experience is if it ain't built before 87', and doesn't have atleast an ARB bumper or some AT tires, it ain't worth talking about the club to. I have had a few blank stares from your typical yuppie grocery getter.

Good job with the direction so far.

Wish I could have made it to a meeting by now. I might be able to make this one coming up because we might be vacationing in Char. the week of the 4th.

As far as TLCA members in the area we shouldn't be missing any. I have the list for GA, SC and NC an if they have an e-mail address they have been getting updates about meetings.

Don't expect LC to blow up over night. It took UC 7 years to get and hold about 30-40 members. I'd rather take it slow and get it right than what y'all and us can handle. Once permanent officers for the year are elected in Sept and we work through some bugs I don't see why this cannot work.

What I want to make sure is the LC doesn't feel as if they are not as important. Y'all are just as important as any UC member since you are one.

Keep doing what your doing. Make events with the thought of "Something for Everyone" and make being a part of the club easy and they will come. Trust me.

What cha got planed?

I sent mine too ya.

I hope he isn't "planing" anything for the club.

Hopefully he is just "planning" something.

"Planing" is what I did to my drafting table this weekend.

Just giving you a hard time. My wife is an english teacher, so I figured I would share the love. :)
