I bought my first Hundy, 2 years ago, after finding it local and pretty good information on the service history at Lexus. turns out it was being sold by @FxFormat.
I'm not saying this lightly... If I have driven the 2003 Land Cruiser 100 when I bought my 2003 Disco (brand new)... I would have NEVER bought a Rover. And I've owned older model Rovers, ranging from 1964 to 2003; Series IIA, Range Rover Classic, Disco I, Disco II and Defender, since. Live and learn.
Anywhoo... You are in luck. Next week is the CLCC Monthly Meeting. You can swing by, look at other trucks and chat with the crew.
