Is there a general consensus? Can’t seem to find a common thread searching the forum.

When I was searching for my GX470 more people seemed to recommend KOYO over the Denso OEM. Two of my local indys recommend KOYO over the Denso for my ‘13 LC200.

If OEM is the general preference, it seems there’s a difference between PN 50384 from Toyota and a Denso “branded” one from my search online. Does that sound right? Found this one below and I’m thinking it’s NOT the same as factory part 50384.

Thanks!

Why take a chance? I'd go OEM Part Number 16400-50384 for the win!

Part number 221-3153 Denso. I have it in my rig. Can’t go wrong with either.

Denso is not OEM in our vehicles. Ours are made by TRad, which has some level of relationship with Toyota but I’m not sure of the details.

The updated design is easily the highest quality available (taking into account the design deficiencies of the original 08-18 models), and not very expensive, especially if you wait for one of the seasonal parts sales.

It is not. I was on a road trip to California. My radiator cracked when I arrived. I called my old friend @ HIROS Auto Repair in Costa Mesa. I told him the issue and with in an hour he had parts and got me back on the road. I asked about OEM and he recommended Denso. I trust him so I have a Denso radiator now.
