If I remember correctly, some people were using A2DP bluetooth dongles with the "SL2i UP" to do bluetooth streaming before the SL3B was released. Probably not quite as full featured at the SL3B, and I'd probably just use the cable with the SL2i, but if you absolutely had to have bluetooth streaming with one of the non-bluetooth units...
It turns out that the "toggle" doesn't work if your phone/ipod is paired with the SL3B.
-I temporarily disabled bluetooth on my phone
-spammed the "scan" button (8x in ~2 sec) to get it into "simple mode"
-pressed and held "disc repeat" until it made its "tone"
-spammed the "scan" button to get it out of "simple mode"
-turned the key to "off"
-re-enabled bluetooth on my phone
-turned the key back to "on" and waited ~5 sec
Now the "I agree" bypass is working for me.
Do you hit the scan button next to the cassette or the scan on the screen? I only see the disc repeat button on the screen so I am assuming this is the button you press and hold?

If I remember correctly it was the "scan" on the screen, with the VAIS selected as the source.

I've had one of these SL3B-L bluetooth adapters in the wife's 2005 LX470 for 4+ years now and it's been really great and the "I agree" bypass works awesome.
But we recently bought a 2006 LX470 to add to the fold for the wife (much nicer condition and lower miles than the 2005 has) and she was adamant that she get bluetooth streaming back. Since I'm keeping the 05 for me for trail duty, I didn't want to give up the bluetooth in that one, so (after looking around at all other possible options and nothing really being that great, IMO), ended up buying another one of these Vais units.
Got it installed yesterday and configured as "MD Changer", but it wouldn't auto bypass the "I Agree" like the one in my "05. Everything I read (including the manual that it came with) stated it was on by default. But I recall the one in my '05 also did not come with it enabled and I had to enable it, but forgot how I did it and the instructions in the manual to toggle it on/off are not quite descriptive enough. I did finally figure out which buttons it was to get into "simple mode" (the on-screen "scan" button, not the physical scan button by the tape player), but pushing and holding "DISC RPT" or "RPT" would do nothing.
Searched all over the web and watched several YouTube videos and nothing worked until I found this thread and your comment about needing to have no bluetooth device attached when you did it. Disconnected my phone from bt and Voila! It worked.
