I looked into remaking these and it is pricey to emboss them. I am thinking about doing them without the embossing and just screen print flat aluminum.

I thought about doing the same........but was scared about copyright infringement, probably not an issue if you make it for yourself. I’m not clear on the law!

A question almost worthy of a law school exam!
As the metal badge denotes the origin of the roof rack, it would be a trademark issue. Regarding personal use, you are simply reinstalling the trademark. That is assuming Con Ferr was still in business. Last I heard, they were no longer in business, so the trademark is no longer in use. As such, the badge can be sold to others.

The stickers I ordered were priced reasonable. Should be here in a couple weeks.
Did you ever get the stickers? Just picked one myself and would love to get stickers or badges to put on the corners.

I did not, I regret selling my two badges I had. I would settle for stickers though. Sorry, I’m no help.
