I have a serious issue with my 2010 LC and the dealer has been of no help. About a year ago I noticed that, every once in a while, the radio/navigation would cut out and restart while I was driving. It was very intermittent and only a little annoying.

The problem has progressed quite significantly though.

Recently the whole truck has been shutting down at random times while driving. The cluster of gauges goes out, the truck loses all power, and the then it will restart within a second or so. It has even stalled out completely.

Since the problem is intermittent, the dealer says there is nothing they can do.

I checked the TSBs to see if there was anything and came up empty. Anyone have any ideas??

If it's electrical it should be able to be stored as code errors, firstly do you have a scan gauge in your vehicle, so you can record any errors.

The only way I was able to get Toyota to fix my intermittent fuel problems was to borrow a mechanics $9000 scanning tool, I then plugged that in the vehicle and drove my vehicle until the problem occurred, that way with the fault data logged, Toyota fixed my vehicle.

That is typical Toyota if it's intermittent it ain't happening

Get that checked NOW. That's a very serious issue, and is definitely not normal at all. Get those error codes looked at, and take it to a shop ASAP

BUMP this thread. Any resolution on this issue?

He states in some posts he goes through very deep water. Headlights burnt out, drive lights knocked loose and air conditioning shorting out problems, sounds like water issues.
