Anyone up for ditching their factory rear subwoofer in favor of a ARB Twin compressor & Air Tank? They sent us this setup last summer to test fit in a US spec truck. We concluded for most the lack of sub is a deal breaker but perhaps some would be interested?

I have the production kit that we did this test fit with. I'd make someone a great deal on the mount kit, compressor, tank and harness.

Ideally you'd get the non US inner panel so you have the pocket door that let's you access the compressor but the standard panel is workable as I recall.

Could see how that's be Perfect for a 100 series for those who had rotting rear ac lines and capped the rear line as that'd be where the rear evap would be.

Yeah looked at that kit when I was evaluating compressor mounting locations. It was $$$ imported from ARB Australia. Sounds like an amazing deal for someone wanting to get the compressor out of the engine bay!

I just put in a new subwoofer last weekend, so definitely not for me :)

Still looking for a volunteer ?

Sure!

I need to make sure we still have the mount (95% sure it's in the "Kurt corner" out in the shop) but if you buy the ARB compressor and tank, I'll give you the mount for free :D

Let me know if mep1811 falls through, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for the mount

Deal. It took me a month to get back to this thread so I better give him at least a few days :D

I'll be interested to hear how this works out, but personally I wouldn't want the compressor inside as it's pretty loud and I think my dog would freak out. Interesting use of space though.

Where are some good places to mount that mini air tank?

I've seen this mounting on some Australian lc200's. I think they do not put it in the engine bay as they have diesel aux parts in the location slee uses.

BUMP!

$720 for the kit including shipping to the Lower 48. That includes the Twin Compressor, Tank, Panel Bracket Kit with the Manifold, hose & fittings ~$950-$1000 regular price. LMK

Bump, how about a price for someone that already has a twin compressor?

Anyone want this mount?
