Bloke that built it apparently made 300hp with a 3071 and 12mm rotary pump off a td42, I'll try post the video.

Saw this on FB last night, I can't see this being worthwhile on a 2H, but then I don't know too much about the 2H either. I'd watch a video if you can find one though!

Hah! Id love to know his under hood temps. He'd be burning the paint off his hood I bet. I dont get the maniflod concept of twins with a compound to boot. Be much simpler compound with a single larger turbo with a divided manifold. Would flow the same with much less fab work. I guess with the colour choice, the fab work must be part of show. Given hes got a cone filter and a non functional snorkel, show must be high on the list.

Ha!, Nice one Gerg! I didn't have the same association- but I did see "Big Rig Jig" at Burning Man years ago... thanks for the reminder! It may have even been the year I took my cruiser to the playa...

I guess it's neat cus it would be so hard to build, but it's not a triple compound, now that would be cool. Why doesn't he have a rad fan? Now that's a good question.
probably the same reason it has no top rad hose. its not put together in those pics

That 2h will not live long. It's high compression and doesn't have pistons with reinforced ring lands.

But the biggest problem will be heat generation. The 2h doesn't stay cool easily with single digits of boost and idi heads transfer so much heat into the coolant that local boiling is a problem.

But that turbo arrangement has no advantages and several disadvantages over a 2 turbo compound setup.

What are the turbos? The small ones look too big and the big too small.

Yeah I agree Doug. When I first saw it I thought the low pressure turbos were off the manifold first, then I saw the intake plumbing and thought??? Then it dawned on me....its a truckasaurus. That is its a cus I can build.
Sort of like this... Pretty, but leaves you with that gnawing question......Serously?

I take my hat off to this guy and hope his 2h stays together if not it's a learning curve and no doubt he will be back with his next generation engine build.
Thanks for posting this build looking forward to the results . :)

Would this turbo system work at all? It looks like an attempt to do a sequential system with no provisions for directing exhaust energy. I don't understand which pressure source is spinning the the turbine on the primary turbo? (The one with the cone filter on its inlet.) It appears to be driven from the same manifold that's connected to the other two turbos. Hard to tell from the photos.
