What would cause a completely dead truck, other than a dead battery? I mean no power, no lights on, no radio, no nothing with the key in any position (acc, on, start). The truck was running fine until I parked it and turned it off. Tried to turn it back on a minute later and nothing.

The immobilizer light blinks with the key out of the ignition. Goes out with the key in the ignition. The only other sign of life is the door open light when a door is open, but only with the key out of the ignition. Any ideas before I get it towed to the dealer?

Thanks

Check battery in your key, fuses in Engine room junction box & Driver side junction box (by foot rest)

I was gonna say that it still sounds like a dead (or in your case disconnected) battery.

I experienced a weird battery drain issue with the same symptoms as you. Re-charged the battery and all has been well ever since (4+ months).

Problem solved. Apparently it is possible for battery contacts to look clean, be tight, and dirty at the same time. Cleaned them all very well and all is good now.
That often happens when the cleaned battery post aren't coated with white lithium grease.
